  4. Come to the PreK office at Earle Brown Elementary
Q:  Are there any requirements?

Yes.  Children must be 3 or 4-years old on September 1st, 2015 and be fully toilet-trained.  Children's legal address must be within school district boundaries (we do require proof of residency), and children will have to complete an Early Childhood Screening prior to enrollment.

Thank you for your interest in ECFE and School Readiness. School Readiness is a high-quality program for children 3 – 5 years old and their parents. This program helps prepare children for kindergarten by providing opportunities for children to participate in a variety of planned learning experiences, large and small group activities, and hands-on play in our literacy rich classrooms. Children must be at least 3-years-old on September 1st and be fully toilet trained.  All-day classes for 4-year-olds are for district children only and priority is given to those that need an extra boost before kindergarten determined through screening and literacy assessment.  They are offered at NO COST with transportation provided.  Classes will follow the school year calendar.

Half day classes for 3's and 4's are fee-based (sliding fee) and families are responsible for transportation. For tuition based classes we take the entire year's tuition amount and divide it into 9 equal monthly payments so it is easier for you to budget. No family will be denied participation due to inability to pay. Please make an appointment with the Director (Michelle Trelstad, 763-561-4480, ext. 5000) if you wish to discuss the fees.
