My name is Mrs. Amy Daun, and this is the start of my 21st year of teaching. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I taught for three years in Milwaukee Public Schools. After my husband was transferred to Minnesota, I was fortunate enough to be hired as a fifth grade teacher at Earle Brown. During my first two years at Earle Brown I attended Saint Mary’s University where I received my Master’s Degree. I taught fifth grade here for three years, and then I made the big jump down to first grade. This is my fifteenth year of teaching first grade.
When I’m not at work I enjoy playing and watching sports, spending time with my family, shopping and working around the house. My husband and I have three children who keep us very busy. Riley is a Junior (16), Carter is in eighth grade (13), and Payton is in sixth grade (11).
