Meet Ms. Karkula
My name is Shannon Karkula, and I am entering my sixth year of teaching at Earle Brown, and my third year teaching with our wonderful second graders. I earned my bachelor of science degree in education from St. Catherine’s University in 2005 and love my work with the children in our community!
Your child’s learning is my focus at school each day. We are here to learn. Because learning is our priority, I set high expectations for each student and for our classroom community. EVERY child is capable of working hard to learn new information and deepen existing understandings, so this is what I expect. It is a privilege for me to work with your student. I love what I do, and I thank you for your collaboration as we all work together this year.
