Meet Mrs. Foote
July 23, 2016
Hello Earle Brown Friends and Families~
My name is Sue Foote and I have the great privilege of being one of the teachers on the 2nd grade team at Earle Brown Elementary. I have been teaching for 16 years. 16 years filled with amazing memories. I attended and graduated from Northwestern University in 2000. My first six years were spent teaching kindergarten and the last ten years have been in second grade.
As a teacher, my goal is to do more than teach the basics. I want each student in my class to discover the joy of learning and growing as unique and valued individuals. To accomplish this goal and reach the special gifts that each child possesses, we work together to create an environment that feels safe and supportive, an environment with unlimited learning experiences, high expectations and laughter.
While teaching is a very special and important part of my life, my greatest joys are my family. My husband Dan and I have two beautiful daughters and two great son-in-laws. We have also been blessed with three darling grandchildren.
Spending time with family and friends is my favorite pastime. A few other favorite activities include reading, gardening and golfing.
